Vassa Properties is a real estate consultancy based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India. We help buyers, sellers and tenants discover residential and commercial properties across the city. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

2. Information we collect

When you contact us or use our services, we may collect: your name, phone number and email address; property preferences (such as budget, location and property type) and the details you include in enquiry or listing forms; your account information when you sign in with Google (name, email address and profile picture, received from Google with your consent); messages you exchange with our chat assistant, which are saved along with the name and number you provide so our team can assist you; and documents you choose to upload to your account dashboard when our team requests them. We also collect limited usage data — such as pages visited and approximate location — through cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 6.

Documents you upload (for example identity or property papers) are stored securely, are visible only to the Vassa Properties team, are never made public, and can be removed by you from your dashboard at any time.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiries, arrange property site visits, follow up with you over WhatsApp, phone or email, and share property options that match your stated preferences. Aggregated usage data helps us understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. AI assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant. Conversations you have with the assistant are processed by a third-party AI provider in order to generate replies, and may be reviewed by our team to improve the service. Please do not share sensitive personal data — such as financial account numbers, government identifiers or passwords — in chat conversations.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate this website: Supabase for secure data storage, Google Analytics for understanding site traffic, and WhatsApp for communication when you choose to contact us there. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help the site function and help us understand how it is used. Essential cookies are required for the site to work; analytics cookies are optional. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and your choice is remembered on your device. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

7. Data retention and security

We keep enquiry and listing information only for as long as it is needed to serve you and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights and how to use them

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update inaccurate details, withdraw a consent you gave earlier, or ask us to erase your data. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it was:

If you have an account(Google sign-in): open your Dashboard and use "Delete my account & data". This immediately and permanently removes your account, enquiries, chat conversations, uploaded documents, saved properties and profile — no email or waiting period needed.

If you contacted us without an account (a form, call or chat): email contact.vassaproperties@gmail.com or call +91 96737 54666 from the number or email you used, so we can verify it is really you — we will not erase data on an unverified request, as that could let someone else delete your information. Verified requests are actioned promptly, and in every case within the 90-day outer limit set by the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

We may retain specific records where another law requires it (for example tax or accounting records) or where they are needed for a legal claim — if that applies, we will tell you what is retained and why.

9. Legal basis and applicable law

We handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as and when its provisions are brought into force. We process your information on the basis of your consent — given when you submit a form, start a chat, sign in or upload a document — and for the legitimate purpose of providing the real estate services you have asked about. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, after which we will stop the related processing except where retention is required by law.
